We discuss the classical mechanics of relativistic systems with direct interaction. We show that various desiderata can all be accommodated in the single time approach by restricting the observables to the gauge invariant variables. We show how such observables can be constructed in general. We explicitly construct position observables in a general system and show that they lead to separable, invariant world lines. Nonsuperluminality is explicitly demonstrated for two body systems interacting via central forces of semibounded magnitude provided they ensure timelike canonical momenta. For two particles, our results reproduce the usual solution in covariant equaltime gauge.

We obtain the superconformal transformation laws for theN=2,D=4 SSYM. The transformations involve YangMills fields and the corresponding field strength tensor is not constrained to be self antidual. We explicitly demonstrate the closure of the superconformal algebra.

The dimensional reduction of eleven dimensional supergravity is discussed. It is shown that there is no dimensional reduction onto RobertsonWalker space with the asymmetric tensorF giving a realistic fluid. Furthermore it is shown that the ansatz’s for the scale factorR:R=at^{n}, R=a exp (bt^{n}), andR=aZ^{n}, there is no dimensional reduction except the known example of the FreundRubinEnglert solution.

We study the implication of triviality on Higgs sector in next to minimal supersymmetric model (NMSSM) using variational field theory. It is shown that the mass of the lightest Higgs boson in NMSSM has an upper bound ∼10M_{W} which is of the same order as that in the standard model.

We consider the SU(4) Skyrme model with explicit chiral and flavour symmetrybreaking terms. Using the masses of the 15plet pseudoscalar mesons as the input, we calculate the masses of the 20plet baryons. The baryon masses predicted by this model agree with results based on quark model to about 15%. We find that the generalized GellMann Okubo mass relation is very well satisfied.

We discuss the classical mechanics of relativistic systems containing any number of particles with direct interaction. We continue our previous approach of restricting the observables to gauge invariant variables. As a preliminary we show how to constructNparticle mass shell constraints. Physical momentum and position variables are constructed in consonance with nonsuperluminality and relativity and consistent with a slightly weakened separability which allows the position four vector of separated particles to differ from the canonical coordinate four vector by a constant term which depends on its history but does not affect future dynamics. The formalism is mathematically consistent though slightly more complicated than previous attempts in this direction.
