Three exact nonstatic solutions of EinsteinMaxwell equations corresponding to a field of flowing null radiation plus an electromagnetic field are presented. These solutions are nonstatic generalizations of the well known KerrNewman solution. The current vector is null in all the three solutions. These solutions are the electromagnetic generalizations of the three generalized radiating Kerr solutions discussed by Vaidya and Patel. The solutions discussed by us describe the exterior gravitational fields of rotating radiating charged bodies. Many known solutions are derived as particular cases.

The dielectric constant and loss tangent of barium titanate and barium titanate doped with 0.4% (mole) La ceramics have been studied in the frequency range 22 KHz70 MHz at room temperature and in the temperature range 20°C–170°C at 22 KHz using aQmeter. It is observed that the dielectric constant at room temperature of the samples increases nearly a hundred fold on doping. The maximum of the dielectric constant broadens and shifts to a lower temperature in the La doped samples. The loss tangent is also relatively high in the doped sample. The dielectric constant and loss tangent of the doped samples decrease faster with frequency than that of the undoped samples.

We discuss the classical mechanics of relativistic systems with direct interaction. We show that various desiderata can all be accommodated in the single time approach by restricting the observables to the gauge invariant variables. We show how such observables can be constructed in general. We explicitly construct position observables in a general system and show that they lead to separable, invariant world lines. Nonsuperluminality is explicitly demonstrated for two body systems interacting via central forces of semibounded magnitude provided they ensure timelike canonical momenta. For two particles, our results reproduce the usual solution in covariant equaltime gauge.

Electrical resistivity measurements under pressure and lattice parameter study on SmSe_{1−x}As_{x} are reported here. The estimate d lattice parameter and valence is calculated for the same and they are found to be in good agreement with the experimental data. The electrical conductivity increases with the increase of As concentration.

IR and Raman spectra of (NH_{4})_{3}ZnCl_{5} have been recorded. The observed spectra have been analysed on the basis of the vibrations of ZnCl
_{4}^{2−}
and NH
_{4}^{+}
ions. The appearance of multiple Raman bands indicates the presence of two different types of ammonium ions. The effect of anisotropic crystalline field over the ZnCl_{4} and NH_{4} tetrahedra is also discussed. The assignment of internal modes has been verified by the potential energy distribution calculations.

In a low energy Mathertype plasma focus device, hot spots having temperature in the range of few KeV have been observed even 1 µs after the pinch disintegration and in regions away from the pinch area. These hot spots are perhaps created by the thermal runway due to temperature fluctuations in the background gas.
