The use ofrf and microwave heating techniques implies to take into account the electromagnetic compatibility of the generators and the equipements for heating with the radio services already installed or in project, but also with all surrounding nearby electronic equipement.
In 1992, the World Administrative Radio Conference (warc) allocated the 2.4835–2.500 GHz band to Mobile Satellite Service (Space to earth) all over the world. But the 2.400–2.500 GHz band is also allocated to ISM (Industrial, Scientific and Medical apparatus). This paper scans the leakage of an oven and suggests some technical improvement in order to reduce it.

Discrete multitone transmission is a high performance technique which lends itself to efficient implementation. The paper focuses on the practical aspects of clock synchronization in that context. Different methods for adapting the sampling clock in the receiver are discussed and different frequency tracking loops are compared. The theoretical analysis is supported by simulation results.

Radio channel observation and characterization is indispensable in mobile communications systems development. Efficient propagation prediction is crucial for rapid and cost-effective systems deployment. On-site measurements, statistical models, propagation prediction and deterministic modeling are widely used for the qualification of radio channels. In this paper, a simulation tool for deterministic channel modeling in indoor environments is evolved. A hybrid combination of the Method-Of-Moments (MoM) and the Uniform Theory of Diffraction (Utd) is used. Statistical characteristics of a simple office room are calculated and the results are in excellent agreement with corresponding results of relative research on the field.

This article examines how web-based interorganizational information systems(ios)can efficiently support coordination mechanisms between outsourcer and third party logistics (3PL). First, we review the literature on coordination mechanisms andios. Second, we report on the methodology used for gathering information on outsourcers and 3PLs. Third, armed with limited but quality data, we identified two fundamental dimensions: 3PL involvement andios impacts on logistics outsourcing decisions. By combining the two dimensions, we propose a conceptual framework that highlights four main categories ofios that we characterize as neutralios, supply chainios, strategicios and dynamicios. After characterizing and analyzing each category, we discuss how these web basedios support outsourcers and 3PL along the supply chain. Finally, the article discusses the framework’s relevancy and its limits.

We propose LicenseScript, a language for digital rights management (Drm) based on multiset rewriting and logic programming. LicenseScript enjoys a precise syntax and semantics, and it is rich enough to embed other rights expression languages (Rel). We show that LicenseScript is expressive and flexible by exploring several application domains representing different aspects ofDrm. We present an implementation. Finally, we extend the core of the language to account for multiple devices in authorized domains.

This article is primarily concerned with standards seen as a means for collective appropriation of technological information. It begins with an attempt to throw light on the relationships between standards, patents and licenses. Then we develop a two-stage duopolistic model whereby each firm must decide on a programme of standardization before choosing its level of production. The risks of multiple or inefficient equilibria are strong enough to justify the intervention of standardization organizations to inform and coordinate individual firms. But the paper also explains why some organizations likeetsi try to play a new role by promoting open access to master patents when used in the definition of a standard.
